Automotive —— ON Semiconductor halts production
According to reports, semiconductor manufacturer ON Semiconductor experienced a power outage at its Bucheon wafer fab in South Korea. The power outage lasted for about 20 minutes, during which most equipment stopped operating. Currently, the plant is conducting tests after restarting the equipment. In addition, ON Semiconductor is considering closing its Bucheon plant for about two weeks starting around mid-December.

NAND will increase by 20% quarter by quarter !
South Korean Media Pulse quoted multiple sources in the semiconductor industry as saying that after Samsung raised its NAND chip quotations by 10% to 20% this quarter, it has decided to increase its quotations by another 20% quarter by quarter in the first and second quarters of next year. The move is part of Samsung's efforts to stabilize NAND chip prices and aim to reverse the market in the first half of next year.
